Senior Android Developer
Description
Our client, a leading financial institution is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join their highly skilled and dynamic Mobile Solutions team in Toronto, ON.
Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for providing specialized technical leadership in the analysis, design, development, implementation and support. The incumbent is responsible for current and future implementation projects within the group, introducing new technologies to meet business objectives and providing technical consultation and guidance to all development projects.
--Help disrupt the future of banking with cutting edge technologies such as payments, biometrics, wearables, augmented reality and game consoles

Key Accountabilities:
–Strong Experience in Android native development
–Experience in multi-tiered architecture and contributes to architecture design and development
–Experience with SOAP/RESTful services/APIs and various design and development methodologies
–Ability to run or perform code reviews, and advising and mentoring junior developers
–Strong communication skills
–Experience with scrum an asset, working with architects to execute day-to-day development

EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS:
-Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or technical equivalent
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
-Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and client relation skills
-Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives
-Technical designations/formal training an asset.
